At Renegade Cycles we know what a difference great cycle clothing can make for you.  Simply put, you'll wonder why you took so long to take the leap.

Let's start with gloves.  You can get padded gloves that will cushion your hands from the jars and bumps of your journey.  You may want gloves designed specifically for the demands of off-road riding.  Or you may just be after a warm winter pair.  There are even gloves designed to keep your fingers from going tingly on longer rides.  But the most important benefit is (thankfully) the least thought of: protecting you should you come off your bike.  The natural inclination is to put your hands out.  Pretty messy without gloves!

Pearl Izumi Man on BikeCycling shorts or "knicks" are a harder concept for many to buy into.  If you ride for over an hour at a time, then these are a must-have item for your cycling wardrobe.  Most knicks hug your skin in order to take advantage of their cooling properties.  They also have a synthetic chamois pad that really improves your comfort both during and after the ride.  Put some chamois creme on before you ride and you'll enjoy a no-chafe ride.  For greater performance and comfort opt for a bib-n-brace set-up.  Although not as common here in Australia, most of Europe goes for the bib-n-brace - and they should know!

Mountain bikers and many recreational riders prefer baggy shorts.  With so many spills and thrills in the hills, a durable outer shell is a must.  Back in the city and many others prefer the casual go-anywhere look that baggy shorts provide.

Renegade Cycles Jersey 01Jerseys are a logical flow-on to knicks.  You don't have to be a walking billboard for Renegade Cycles or anyone else if you don't want to.  There are plenty of loose-fitting and semi form fit jerseys on hand.  Whichever you choose, you'll be cooler and drier than ever before.  These multilayer microfibre garments wick the moisture to the surface for rapid evaporation.  You'll never ride in a cotton T-shirt again!

Other accessories that are designed to keep you dry and cool (or warm in winter) include socks, base layer jerseys, vests, jackets, shoe covers, headbands, and arm, leg and knee warmers.  And let's not forget sunglasses for your eyes.

We have quite a selection to choose from.  We invite you to take a look and let us assist you with any features of our products.
