90-day money-back guarantee
What are the terms of your 90-day money-back guarantee?
We want you to be thrilled with your new bicycle and accessories. If for any reason you are not completely thrilled, return them to us within 90 days for a full refund.
To take advantage, you accept that, whilst we will not deduct any amounts for fair wear and tear, we reserve the right to deduct the price of replacing any component(s) from the refund amount which, in our opinion, failed or was damaged due to accident, abuse or neglect. This guarantee is not transferable.
I really like riding but I think I have should have bought something even better. Can I use my 90-day money-back guarantee to return my bike for a full refund and then buy something even better?
Yes as long as you do so within the 90-day period.
How many people take advantage of the 90-day money-back guarantee?
About 1% and the majority of these people upgrade.
Why don’t other shops offer a 90-day money-back guarantee?
We have to make sure we are selling you the right type of bike for your needs, the correct sized bike for your body, and a high enough quality bike for the amount and type of riding you are planning to do. Otherwise we can assure you that you won’t be completely thrilled with your new bicycle. We suspect most shops simply don’t care about these things.
Bike Buying Guide
There are many types of bikes and accessories to choose from. How do I tell what is right for me?
Start by reading our Bike Buying Guide and then visit our shop. We will work with you to choose the right bicycle and accessories for your needs. Remember that only at Renegade Cycles are you backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee.
What sized bike is right for me?
If you look on the internet, you'll find many attempts to present formulas and computations to work this out, but they are just sheer speculation. As you’ll quickly conclude from reading our Bike Buying Guide, the only way to tell is to start with the model that you are interested in first. Yes we often take some basic measurements just to get an idea of body proportions but the only sure way is to put you on a bike and go from there. Experience beats a formula every time.

No.
Can I mail order one of your bicycles?
No. Selling you the correct bicycle for your needs, ensuring that the bicycle is correctly assembled by one of our skilled mechanics, and explaining the basic operation of the bicycle to you is important to us.
Can I mail order any of your accessories?
Although we prefer not to sell products this way, we understand that many areas within Australia aren’t properly serviced or that you simply don’t have time to visit our shop. The best way to proceed is to phone us.
Do you ship items overseas?
No.
Why don’t you sell items on the internet?
Although the internet is a convenient way to purchase products, we feel it isn’t the right way when comfort, size and safety are concerned.
Servicing Your Bike
Do I need to book my bicycle in for a service?
No just bring it in. We’ll assess it, recommend a course of action, give you a timeframe and estimated cost and you can give us the go-ahead to proceed.
I commute on my bicycle. Can I book my bicycle in for a same-day service?
Yes we offer our Premium Service on a same-day basis to commuters on weekdays. To receive a same day turnaround you must book your service ahead of time. We need to receive it by 10am on the day of the booking and you can usually pick it up after 4.30pm. We carry many spares. Our aim is to have drive train (chain, cassette, bottom bracket, crankset), shifters and brake components on hand for 95% of the bicycles that we service.
How long does it take to service my bicycle?
Obviously it depends on the work or parts required but our goal is to turn around repairs within a day where possible.
Do you pick-up and deliver?
We do not have resources dedicated to pick-ups and deliveries. However we can arrange to deliver new bicycles purchased from us to residences within close proximity to the shop. Generally, deliveries must be scheduled up to a fortnight in advance. Other than recurrring on-site and pickup servicing arrangements with local companies we do not pick-up or deliver bicycles being serviced. We do offer and carry a full range of bicycle carriers to suit most cars. These will give you easy access to our shop for bicycle services as well as access to all the great places to ride!
